Well, if I say California, you will no doubt, think about its spectacular beauties of that place. Therefore, this time, being a tourist, I went to one of the wonderful travel destinations in California, United States. The name of that wonderland is Santa Monica. This city lies to the west of the 405 Freeway. This vast sprawling city has massive economic diversity with its own neighborhoods. The city offers mall, pier and boardwalk as a major spots for teens and tourists. However, for other Los Angeles natives these areas do not draw much interest.

The Los Angeles natives will love to be at the 3rd Street Promenade because Santa Monica has some of the areas where fine restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, and parking could be found. And the 3rd Street Promenade is one among them. If you love to enjoy shopping then do not fail to visit the Montana Street, Wilshire Blvd. and some others. This city is situated on Santa Monica Bay and so offers pleasant climate and attractions where people love to hang out. No wonder, the city has plenty of amazing attractions and cultural resources that fascinate every people.

The city enjoys average of 310 days of sunshine a year, as its location snuggled on the vast and open Santa Monica Bay. Morning fog is very common phenomenon that could be experienced during the months of May, June, and early July. Visiting the National Historic Landmark called Santa Monica Hippodrome that was built in the year 1909, will boost your energy to explore the city further. Besides this, some of the other attractions of Santa Monica are Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, McCabe’s Guitar Shop, Santa Monica Museum of Art, and many others.

So try some from fine restaurants in the city. In addition to the friendly beaches of Santa Monica, the city also offers perfect bars to enjoy. If you do not want to enjoy at the bars, then simply take a sip of coffee during the daytime somewhere at the café or else and make some sweet memories.

The popular hangouts for every tourist are its beaches where sunshine, lingering around, sporting because of which this city is so popular and some other activities. You will feel proud after reaching to the Santa Monica Pier, as it was built between 1908 and 1921, and is the oldest pleasure pier on the West Coast.
