Visit San Carlos de Bariloche and you would know why it is known as the Switzerland of Argentina. Come to America and visit this Argentinian beauty and get lost in the foothills of the Andes and see the shores of the Nahuel Huapi Lake come alive. This city in the Rio Negro province of the Argentinian country is an ideal tourist spot because of its lovely architectural elegance and beautiful ski spots. Bariloche or the people from behind the mountain as the name indicate is a place that was used as a pass by the Poyas long time back to cross the mighty Andes. This was actually a secret pass as the European priests were not aware of it. Vuri means behind and che means people so Vuriloche slowly got converted to Bariloche.

The melting snow gives the coolest of water and the Lake Nahuel Huapi with its 14 degrees centigrade water completely excites the tourist pleasure.

Fishing is another reason why tourists love to come here. This fishing season is a great tourist hit and many excursions for fishing are also organized in Bariloche. This is the biggest city in the Lakes District and thus has a lot of excursions ruling the entire region.
